Myrna Quiñonez: Centre Page Poster Issue 142
Myrna Quiñonez: Centre Page Poster Issue 142
Myrna Quiñonez is a painter from Mexico, she currently lives and works in Bristol and has a studio at Spike Island. She investigates the dynamics of landscape, this includes the manipulation of its effects and the limits of our assumptions of what landscape means to us. Her works establish a link between traditional oil painting and the impact that new media, screens and technology have on us, changing how we perceive the world. Her paintings look like images that have been digitally rendered. Find her: @myrnaquinonez
