Firpal is a digital artist and art director based in London, who plays with illustration and graphic design to create two-dimensional digital scenescapes. This cartoonist and comic style combines plush, chimeric fantasies with elaborate Indo-futurisms and spectacle. They take inspiration from video games, interiors, folklore and furniture (essentially what is on the collectables section of eBay). Their visual style develops upon traditional Kalighat, Thangka and Mughal miniature painting styles. Firpal has had their work featured by Vogue India, ItsNiceThat, Booooooom, Homegrown and Drool.
